  • Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) announced on Monday that after making several technical changes to its lead training aircraft, 'Hindustan Jet Trainer' (HJT-36), it has now been renamed 'Yashas'. 
  • The new name was unveiled in the presence of HAL's Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) D.K. Sunil and senior officials at 'Aero India 2025'.
