Gujarat has launched the Mukhyamantri Gramotthan Yojana, a major rural development initiative aimed at providing urban-level facilities in villages. The first phase targets 114 Taluka headquarters villages with upgraded roads, underground drainage, solar street lighting, and digital e-Gram services to improve connectivity, sanitation, and governance. Additionally, 2,666 Gram Panchayat Ghar-cum-Talati Awas buildings worth ₹663 crore will strengthen local administration and grassroots governance.
