The government has launched the Mutual Credit Guarantee Scheme (MCGS-MSME) for the MSME sector, which will provide 60% guarantee coverage on loans up to ₹100 crore.
To avail of this scheme, an Udyam Registration Number is required, and at least 75% of the project cost must be spent on equipment/machinery.
