The government has extended the term of Chief Economic Advisor (CEA) V. Anantha Nageswaran for two years until March 2027, effective from February 20, 2025.
The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved Mr. Nageswaran's term on a contractual basis until March 31, 2027.
