  • The government has extended the term of Chief Economic Advisor (CEA) V. Anantha Nageswaran for two years until March 2027, effective from February 20, 2025. 
  • The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved Mr. Nageswaran's term on a contractual basis until March 31, 2027.
