In a historic first, Ozzo Feni—a traditional Goan liquor made from cashew apples—has received a Geographical Indication (GI) tag. Produced by Cazcar Distillery in Nanora village, this recognition protects Feni’s identity, deters imitation, and boosts its branding and market value both within India and globally.
