Goa Police has set a national benchmark by becoming the first state police force in India to achieve a 100% response rate on the cloud-based 1930 cyber fraud helpline. Operating round-the-clock with enhanced voice clarity, automatic call recording, and real-time monitoring, the centre has handled over 5,000 calls and registered 581 complaints. The upgraded system enables faster reporting and swift police action, significantly reducing financial losses. This milestone reflects Goa Police’s commitment to citizen-friendly, technology-driven and secure digital policing.
