  • French President Emmanuel Macron will visit India from February 17–19 for high-level talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi aimed at strengthening the India–France strategic partnership. The visit follows continued diplomatic momentum after PM Modi’s France trip in 2025 and focuses on expanding cooperation in defence, technology, clean energy, and the Indo-Pacific.
  • Discussions will be guided by the Horizon 2047 Roadmap, a long-term framework aligning bilateral ties with India’s 100th year of independence. Regional security, global governance, and multilateral coordination will also feature prominently in the talks.
