Former Chief Election Commissioner Navin Chawdhary, who oversaw the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, passed away in Delhi at the age of 79.
Navin Chawdhary, who was an IAS officer of the 1969 batch, was appointed as Election Commissioner in 2005 and served as Chief Election Commissioner from 2009 to 2010.
