Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRSs) across India, under the National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS), will observe Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh Pakhwada from 1st to 15th November 2025, celebrating Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s 150th Birth Anniversary. The initiative, inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, aims to honour tribal heroes and promote awareness of India’s rich tribal heritage. Over 1.5 lakh students from 497 EMRSs will participate in cultural, creative, and educational activities showcasing tribal pride and unity. The celebration will conclude on Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas, with two best-performing schools being felicitated for outstanding participation and innovation.
