  • Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully completed the first phase of developmental field firing trials of Indian light tank 'Zorawar' in which the tank excelled in desert terrain and achieved requisite accuracy on designated targets.
  • 'Zorawar' has been developed in collaboration with DRDO's CVRDE unit and Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T), and its testing has demonstrated the indigenous defence manufacturing capabilities in the country.
