  • Dr. Madan Mohan Tripathi has joined as Director-General of the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT).
  • Before joining NIELIT, Dr. Madan Mohan Tripathi was working as Professor at Delhi Technological University (DTU), New Delhi. 
  • He has also worked as Director Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Coordinator of Intellectual Property Rights Cell at DTU.
  • National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India.
  • It is the country's premier institute for examination and certification in the field of Information, Electronics, and Communication Technology. It is one of the national examination body which accredits institutes/organizations to conduct courses in IT in the non-formal sector.
