Daily Current Affairs / Delhi Bans Entry of Non-BS-VI Commercial Goods Vehicles from November 1, 2025
Category : State Published on: November 03 2025
Starting November 1, 2025, the Delhi Government has banned the entry of all non-BS-VI compliant, non-Delhi registered commercial goods vehicles to reduce pollution. The rule applies to light, medium, and heavy goods vehicles, while BS-IV vehicles are allowed till October 31, 2026. CNG, LNG, and electric vehicles registered in Delhi are exempt. Enforcement teams at 23 entry points, including Kundli, Rajokri, and Tikri, will turn back violators. The move, part of Delhi’s Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) and pollution control measures, aims to improve air quality as AQI levels remain poor and ensure a cleaner, healthier capital.
