Defence Minister Rajnath Singh unveiled a commemorative “My Stamp” in honour of the 13th Battalion of the Kumaon Regiment for their heroic role in the 1962 Battle of Rezang La. Inspired by the Rezang La War Memorial in Ladakh, the stamp was released in New Delhi ahead of the battle’s 63rd anniversary on 18 November 2025. The event saw the presence of Farhan Akhtar, the lead actor and producer of the upcoming war film “120 Bahadur,” director Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai, and producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Amit Chandrra. The stamp pays tribute to Param Vir Chakra awardee Major Shaitan Singh Bhati and the brave soldiers who fought under his command. The film “120 Bahadur,” based on this legendary battle, is set to release on 21 November 2025.
