China's Shenzhou-19 crew successfully conducted the first artificial photosynthesis experiment in orbit aboard the Tiangong Space Station, converting carbon dioxide and water into oxygen and ethylene (a rocket fuel component), this technology operates with low energy consumption and supports China's goal of a manned lunar landing before 2030.
