  • CBSE is all set to conduct a pilot run of open-book exams for classes 9 to 12 in selected schools later this year.
  • The exam will target subjects such as English, Maths and Science for Class 9 and 10 and English, Mathematics and Biology for Class 11 and 12.
  • The primary objective of these examinations is to assess the time taken by students to complete tests and collect feedback from stakeholders, which is aligned with the recommendations of the National Curriculum Framework.
