Carlos Alcaraz staged an extraordinary comeback to retain his French Open title by defeating World No. 1 Jannik Sinner in a five-set marathon, which has become the longest final in the tournament's history. After trailing two sets and facing three championship points, Alcaraz turned the match around to win 4-6, 6-7, 6-4, 7-6, 7-6. With this victory, he secured his second Roland Garros trophy and fifth overall Grand Slam title, maintaining a perfect record in major finals.
