Canada announced a 25% tariff on U.S. imports in response to a move imposed by U.S. President Donald Trump that would immediately apply to $30 billion worth of U.S. goods and an additional $125 billion in 21 days.
China and Mexico also announced countermeasures against U.S. trade policies, which could affect global economic instability and international markets.
