According to the recent announcement, C.S. Rajan will be the new chairman of Kotak Mahindra Bank.
The Reserve Bank of India has given consent for his appointment.
Rajan was appointed as an independent director on the board of Kotak Mahindra Bank in October, 2022.
C.S. Rajan's tenure will begin from January 1, 2024.
His appointment has been made for 2 years.
Rajan has also been the director of Infrastructure Leasing and Financial Services Limited.
Kotak Mahindra Bank was established in the year 1985.
