President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu along with Botswana President H.E. Duma Gideon Boko, witnessed the release of eight cheetahs from Botswana’s Ghanzi region at Mokolodi Nature Reserve, marking their symbolic donation to India under Project Cheetah. The visit included meetings with Botswana’s Vice President Ndaba Gaolathe and Minister of International Relations Dr. Phenyo Butale. Addressing the Indian community in Gaborone, President Murmu highlighted India-Botswana cooperation in trade, education, health, and renewable energy, urging the diaspora to continue contributing to Botswana’s progress and strengthen bilateral ties.
