Following the unfortunate stampede during Royal Challengers Bangalore's IPL victory celebrations in Bengaluru, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the formation of a special committee to develop safety protocols for future public celebrations. Chaired by Devajit Saikia, with members Prabhtej Singh Bhatia and Rajeev Shukla, the committee is tasked with submitting a report and guidelines within 15 days.
