Union Home Minister Amit Shah chaired the 32nd meeting of the Northern Zonal Council in Faridabad, Haryana, bringing together CMs, LGs, and senior officials from northern states and UTs. The meeting focused on key issues, including education, health, electricity, fast-track courts for crimes against women and children, village-level banking access, and strengthening ERSS-112. Discussions also covered nutrition, urban planning, cooperatives, and inter-state coordination. Held in Surajkund under tight security, the meet reinforced cooperative federalism and regional development.
