Gujarat’s Ambaji white marble has been awarded the Geographical Indication (GI) tag, recognizing its unique quality, shine, and durability. The tag, granted to the Ambaji Marbles Quarry and Factory Association in Banaskantha, strengthens the stone’s global identity and boosts market demand. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel hailed it as a matter of pride, noting its long use in temples and religious sites. Ambaji marble’s historic legacy and exceptional quality now position it prominently in domestic and international markets.
