Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot inaugurated 512 new Indira Rasoi in the Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
The total number of Indira Rasoi in the state has reached 870, of which 378 are already in existence.
It should be noted that Gehlot began 358 permanent kitchens in 213 urban bodies in August 2020, with the concept of 'No One Sleeps Hungry.'
The poor are given a one-time meal for Rs 8 through Indira Rasoi. The scheme provided a subsidy of Rs 12 per plate to kitchen operators, which was increased to Rs 17 per plate on January 1, 2022.
