  • The International Federation of Psoriasis Associations (IFPA) observes World Psoriasis Day every year on October 29 to promote awareness, empowerment, and action to improve the quality of life for people with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.
  • "Uniting for action" is the theme for World Psoriasis Day 2021.
  • Psoriasis is a skin condition in which skin cells proliferate ten times faster than normal. Psoriasis causes rough red areas with white scales to form on the skin.
