Singapore confers highest honour on former CII director general Tarun Das

  • Tarun Das, former director general of CII, has been honoured with an 'Honorary Civilian Award' by Singapore. He has been given this award for his outstanding contribution to Singapore-India relations.
  • President of Singapore Tharman Shanmugaratnam on 16 January 2025 bestowed the highest honour of the city-state on Tarun Das, the former director general of the Confederation of the Indian Industry (CII).
