Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher (REET) is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education of Rajasthan (RBSE). This year the Board of Secondary Education of Rajasthan has released vacancies for primary teachers.

 

The 23rd and 24th of July 2022 have been set aside for the REET Exam Date 2022. On April 11, 2022, the REET official announcement was made public. The 18th of April 2022 marks the start of the REET online application procedure, which will go through the 18th of May 2022.     Overview

    REET - Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers is conducted for selection for teachers in the state of Rajasthan.  REET tests teachers on two levels- Primary or level 1 and upper Primary or level 2. REET is conducted every year by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER)

     

    The Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test, popularly known as REET, is the base capability needed to be qualified for the arrangement as an instructor from class one to eighth in India. The assessment is necessary for instructing work in government schools in India. There are two papers: Paper 1, for instructors from classes I to V, and paper 2 for classes VI to VIII. REET is controlled by the Rajasthan state legislatures of India. The test is led to satisfying the privileges of the Children of Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009.

    Eligibility Criteria

    Essential Educational Qualifications: 

    The following persons are eligible for appearing in the REET.

    Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage

    Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR

    Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition, Norms and Procedure) Regulation, 2002. OR

    Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR

    Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*. OR

    Graduation and two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) passed.

     

    Minimum Qualifications for Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage

    Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or equivalent) passed. 

    OR

    At least 50% marks either in Graduation or post-Graduation and B.Ed. passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). 

    OR

    Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1-year B.Ed. passed, in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition, Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. 

    OR

    Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) passed with at least 50% marks or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR

    Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) passed with at least 50% marks or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A. /B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.  

    OR

    Graduation or post-Graduation passed with at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education) passed or appearing in the final year of B.Ed (Special Education)

     

    Exam Pattern

    Scheme of Examinations

    There will be two papers of REET.

    (i) Level I will be for teachers applying to teach I to V.

    (ii) Level II will be for teachers applying to teach classes VI to VIII

    Note: A person who wishes to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both papers (Paper I and Paper II).

    Validity Period of REET Certificate:

    All the candidates who have passed the eligibility test of REET-2021 shall be issued a certificate by the REET office. 

    The certificate shall be valid for lifetime from the date of release of the examination result. 

    A person will not have any right, whatsoever to get recruitment/employment as a teacher just after passing the REET examination, as this is only a minimum criterion required for any recruitment.

    How to Apply

    The applications can be submitted through online mode only. Detailed instructions on filling online application form are given below. 

     

    1. Log on to REET official website rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in. or http://www.reetbser21.com/ReETfoRm2021/HsPage.php

    2. At the landing page, track down the, click on online application connect under the "News Update" area.

    3. Tap on 'Register and Generate Fee Challan For REET-2021' and enter all requisite details. 

    4. After filling in details note the generated username and secret phrase.

    5. Login using your credentials and complete the REET application form. 

    6. After filling in the application, make the payment towards REET Application.

    7. take a printout of the filled and submitted REET application for future reference purposes.
