This award is given in the military field.
Recently 'Golden Owl Award' has been awarded to 3 officers of the Indian Armed Forces.
These 3 Indian officers are – Wing Commander Sumeet Mahajan, Major Rohit and Lieutenant Commander Sunny Sharma.
The award was given to Wing Commander Sumeet Mahajan for the Air Force, Major Rohit for the Army and Lieutenant Commander Sunny Sharma for the Navy.
These three officers are currently undergoing command and staff course training at the Defense Services Command and Staff College in Sri Lanka.
The prestigious award was presented to Sumeet Mahajan, Rohit and Sunny Sharma by Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
The 'Golden Owl' award is not just a recognition of academic achievements but also includes a holistic assessment of skills critical to military leadership.
