Fitch Ratings has lowered India’s GDP growth forecast for FY2025–26 to 6.3%, down slightly from 6.4% estimated earlier in April. Despite the downward revision, the rating agency highlighted continued strength in infrastructure investment that sustains demand across core sectors.
