  • केंद्र सरकार ने पंजाब एंड महाराष्ट्र को-ऑपरेटिव बैंक लिमिटेड (पीएमसी बैंक) को यूनिटी स्मॉल फाइनेंस बैंक लिमिटेड (यूएसएफबीएल) के साथ विलय की योजना को मंजूरी दे दी है।
  • यह विलय 25 जनवरी, 2022 को प्रभावी हुआ।
  • यूनिटी एसएफबी सेंट्रम ग्रुप और भारतपे के बीच एक संयुक्त उद्यम है।
  • इसने 1 नवंबर, 2021 से एक लघु वित्त बैंक (SFB) के रूप में परिचालन शुरू किया था।
