One More Gold medal in ISSF Junior World Championship

·         Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar wins gold in the Men's 50m Rifle 3 Position event, breaking the world record.

·         Naamya Kapoor, the niece of two-time Olympian Sanjeev Rajput, also won gold in the women's 25m pistol, adding to India's stunning medal haul.

·         The Indians now lead the ISSF Junior World Championship 2021 table with 17 medals (eight golds, six silvers, and three bronzes). With 12 medals, the United States is second on the list (four golds).

About ISSF Junior World Championship

v  The ISSF World Cup was created in 2016 by the International Shooting Sport Federation to give junior shooters with a comparable competition to the ISSF World Cup. A 'junior,' according to the ISSF, is an athlete who is under the age of 21 on December 31 of the competition year. It includes a wide range of Olympic and non-Olympic rifle, pistol, and shotgun events, as well as one or two competitions per year in each category.
