नीति आयोग, मोडोनर और UNDP की सहायता से जारी उत्तर-पूर्व जिला SDG सूचकांक 2023-24 के अनुसार, मिजोरम का हनथिअल जिला सबसे बेहतर प्रदर्शनकर्ता बना। मिजोरम, सिक्किम और त्रिपुरा के सभी जिले अग्रणी श्रेणी में आए। 85% जिलों ने समग्र स्कोर में सुधार दिखाया जबकि 93 जिलों में ‘स्वास्थ्य और कल्याण’ लक्ष्य में बढ़ोत्तरी दर्ज की गई।
