  • टोक्यो ओलंपिक स्वर्ण पदक विजेता नीरज चोपड़ा ने डायमंड लीग 2022 में रजत पदक जीता है।
  • स्टॉकहोम में डायमंड लीग में नीरज चोपड़ा ने 89.94 मीटर फेंका और ऐसा करते हुए उन्होंने अपना ही राष्ट्रीय रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिया है ।
  • ओलंपिक चैंपियन, नीरज चोपड़ा विश्व चैंपियन एंडरसन पीटर्स के बाद दूसरे स्थान पर रहे।
  • यह पहली बार था जब नीरज चोपड़ा किसी डायमंड लीग इवेंट में शीर्ष तीन में रहे है।
  • एंडरसन पीटर्स ने स्वर्ण पदक जीता जबकि जर्मनी के जूलियन वेबर ने अपने पांचवें प्रयास में 89.08 मीटर फेंक कर कांस्य पदक हासिल किया है।
