  • यह दिन हमारे जीवन में गणित के मूल्य को पहचानना और लोगों को अपनी आत्म-सीखने और तर्क करने की क्षमता में सुधार करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करता है।
  • 2012 में, पूर्व प्रधान मंत्री डॉ मनमोहन सिंह ने 22 दिसंबर को राष्ट्रीय गणित दिवस के रूप में घोषित किया था।
  • गणित के प्रति उनके असीम उत्साह और योगदान के कारण श्रीनिवास रामानुजन को "द मैन हू न्यू इनफिनिटी" उपनाम दिया गया था।
