L&T launches second multi-purpose vessel for Indian Navy

  • Larsen & Toubro (L&T) launched the second multi-purpose vessel INS Utkarsh for the Indian Navy, launched from the Kattupalli shipyard near Chennai, within three months of the launch of the first multi-purpose vessel INS Samarth.
  • Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is building three cadet training ships and six other defence ships for the Indian Navy, as well as completing the repair work of INS Tir at the Kattupalli Shipyard.
