तमिलनाडु के करुप्पुर कलमकारी पेंटिंग और कल्लाकुरिची लकड़ी की नक्काशी को उनके पारंपरिक डाई-पेंटेड आलंकारिक और पैटर्न वाले कपड़े के लिए भौगोलिक संकेत (जीआई) टैग प्राप्त हुआ।
कल्लाकुरुची लकड़ी की नक्काशी कलम, ताड़ के तने, खजूर के पेड़, बांस की छड़ी के ब्रश और नारियल के पेड़ के तनों से बनाई जाती है।
भौगोलिक संकेत रजिस्ट्री ने तमिलनाडु हस्तशिल्प विकास निगम (पूमपुहर) द्वारा दायर एक आवेदन के आधार पर यह प्रमाण पत्र प्रदान किया।
