  • The Indian Army's Kharga Corps, in collaboration with the Indian Air Force, conducted a three-day joint exercise in Punjab under the aegis of the Army's Western Command. 
  • This exercise aimed to enhance operational preparedness and validate the employment of attack helicopters in mechanized operations in developed areas.
  • Gagan Strike-II Exercise: Named "Gagan Strike-II," the exercise featured the participation of various assets, including Apache and ALH-WSI helicopters, Unarmed Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), and specialized units of the Indian Army. 
  • The primary focus was to validate the use of these assets in supporting ground offensive campaigns during live-firing exercises, emphasizing the importance of coordinated operations between the Army and the Air Force.
