आईएनएएस 316 को आईएनएस हंसा में शामिल किया गया

  • भारतीय नौसेना ने आईएनएस हंसा, डाबोलिम में दूसरे भारतीय नौसेना वायु स्क्वाड्रन (आईएनएएस) 316 को सेवा में शामिल किया है। 
  • INAS 316 को नौसेना प्रमुख, एडमिरल आर हरि कुमार की उपस्थिति में कमीशन किया गया है।
  • द्वितीय भारतीय नौसेना वायु स्क्वाड्रन (आईएनएएस) 316 में पी-81 विमान का एक बेड़ा शामिल है। इसके चालू होने से हिंद महासागर क्षेत्र में भारतीय नौसेना की निगरानी शक्ति में वृद्धि होगी।
  • इंडियन नेवी एयर स्क्वाड्रन (INAS) 316 बोइंग P-8I मल्टी-रोल लॉन्ग-रेंज मैरीटाइम टोही और एंटी-सबमरीन वारफेयर एयरक्राफ्ट का संचालन करेगा।
