भारतीय किसान उर्वरक सहकारी लिमिटेड (इफको) के अध्यक्ष बलविंदर सिंह नकई का 11 अक्टूबर, 2021 को निधन हो गया। वह उस समय 86 वर्ष के थे। उन्होंने दो कार्यकालों के लिए इफको के उपाध्यक्ष के रूप में भी कार्य किया था।
नकई मालवा फ्रूट एंड वेजिटेबल कोऑपरेटिव मार्केटिंग-कम-प्रोक्योरमेंट सोसाइटी लिमिटेड के अध्यक्ष भी रह चुके है। पिछले तीन दशकों से वे सहकारिता आंदोलन के सदस्य रहे हैं।
नकई खुद एक किसान थे। इफको की किसानोन्मुखी नीतियों को विकसित करने में उनका महत्वपूर्ण योगदान था।
