हर्षदा शरद गरुड़ ने एशियाई युवा और जूनियर भारोत्तोलन चैम्पियनशिप में स्वर्ण पदक जीता

  • तेजी से उभरती भारतीय भारोत्तोलक हर्षदा गरुड़ ने ताशकंद में आयोजित एशियाई युवा और जूनियर भारोत्तोलन चैम्पियनशिप में महिलाओं के 45 किग्रा वर्ग में स्वर्ण पदक जीता है।
  • 18 वर्षीय हर्षदा शरद गरुड़ ने कुल 157 किग्रा (69 किग्रा + 88 किग्रा) के साथ स्वर्ण पदक जीता है।
  • यह प्रयास उसके जूनियर विश्व चैंपियनशिप खिताब जीतने वाले 153 किग्रा (70 किग्रा + 83 किग्रा) के भारोत्तोलन से चार किलोग्राम बेहतर था, जिसे उन्होंने मई में दर्ज किया था।
  • सौम्या दलवी ने 45 किग्रा युवा वर्ग में कांस्य पदक जीता है।
