  • Gulveer Singh became the first Indian to break the 13-minute barrier in the men's 5000m indoor race, setting a national and Asian short track record with a time of 12:59.77 at the BU Terrier DMR Challenge in Boston.
  • He also set a new national record in the men’s 3000m indoor event last week, clocking 7:38.26 and surpassing Surendar Singh’s 16-year-old record of 7:49.47.
