The Secretary of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Professor Abhay Karandikar, has handed over the charge of CEO of the National Research Foundation to Dr. Shivkumar Kalyanaraman.
Professor Karandikar was serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Research Foundation (ANRF). Along with this, Dr. Shivkumar has taken charge as the CEO of ANRF.
Its purpose is to initiate, develop and promote research and development (R&D) and to advance the culture of research and innovation in universities, colleges, research institutions, and R&D laboratories in India.
