Delhi Government Releases Draft EV Policy 2026-2030

  • Delhi government has released the draft Electric Vehicle Policy 2026–2030 to promote clean mobility and reduce pollution.
  • Electric cars priced up to ₹30 lakh will get 100% exemption on road tax and registration fees till March 2030.
  • Strong hybrid vehicles will receive 50% exemption on road tax and registration.
  • From January 1, 2027, only electric three-wheelers will be allowed for new registration in Delhi.
  • Public feedback is invited for 30 days.
