  • Shri Arvind Kumar has been appointed Director-General of India's Software Technology (STPI).
  • The Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) is a government-run organisation under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).
  • Shri Arvind Kumar was working for the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) before joining STPI.
  • Before joining TRAI, Kumar completed his M.Tech at IIT-Varanasi and worked at the government-owned Center for Development of Telematics.
