  • Kavinder Gupta has been reassigned as the Governor of Himachal Pradesh amid a broader gubernatorial reshuffle.
  • Ladakh became a Union Territory without a legislative assembly after the J&K Reorganisation Act, 2019.
  • RK Mathur was the first LG of Ladakh, followed by Brigadier BD Mishra (February 2024) and then Kavinder Gupta (July 2025).
