The Zoological Survey of India (ZSI) has published a book titled ‘Field Guide, Birds of India’.
It deals with 1,331 avian species found in the country.
The Zoological Survey of India was founded on 1 July 1916 by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
It is as premier Indian organisation in zoological research and studies.
