World Sight Day: 14 October

‘World Sight Day’ (WSD) is coordinated by the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB).
WSD became an official IAPB event in the year 2000, and has been marked in many different ways in countries around the world each year.
The theme for Sight Day 2021 is 'Love your eyes.'

About Eye:

Iris: the colored part
Cornea: a clear dome over the iris
Pupil: the black circular opening in the iris that lets light in
Sclera: the white of your eye
Conjunctiva: a thin layer of tissue that covers the entire front of your eye, except for the cornea
