In the World Happiness Report 2024, India ranks 126 out of 143 countries, behind countries like Pakistan, Iraq, and Palestine.
Finland topped the list of happiest countries for the seventh consecutive year, followed by Denmark, Iceland and Sweden.
The young demographic in India emerged as the "happiest group", while those from the "lower middle" class report the lowest satisfaction.
Others in the top 10 are Denmark, Iceland, Sweden, Israel, the Netherlands, Norway, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Australia.
