The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment observed World Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) Day across the country. This year’s theme was “Family: The Centre of Care”, aimed at promoting sensitivity, support, and inclusivity for affected children and their families. Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy is a rare and progressively worsening disease that gradually weakens muscles, impacting mobility, respiration, and heart function in children.
“Cyber Bharat Setu” workshop inaugurated in Tripura by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology Secretary Shri S. Krishnan to strengthen India’s cyber resilience through collaboration, innovation, and proactive defence strategies.
