World Day Against Child Labour is observed annually on June 12.
It aims to serve as a catalyst for the growing worldwide movement against child labour.
This year, the theme for World Day Against Child Labour is 'Social Justice for All. End Child Labour!'. It emphasized the link between social justice and child labour.
This significant day was established by the International Labour Organization (ILO), and all United Nations member countries have since been commemorating it.
To bring attention to this issue, the International Labour Organization (ILO) designated June 12 as the World Day Against Child Labour in 2002.
