On the 7th of October, World Cotton Day is observed as a global celebration of cotton and its stakeholders, from the field to the fabric and beyond.
The theme for World Cotton Day 2021 is “There's more to cotton than you think”.
In 2019, Geneva hosted the first World Cotton Day.
On the occasion of the second World Cotton Day in 2020, India, the world's second-largest cotton grower and consumer, unveiled its own label and logo, "Kasturi Cotton."
